New Media Portfolio

Over the past couple semesters I have been taking courses in the new media certificate. Bellow you will see a collection of my work for these courses. 

New Media Capstone

This semester, I took the final New Media course. My group worked with UGA Athletics to create AR Athletics and pAR, an augmented reality app that brings 3D models of the golf course into the real world. I was the videographer for this project and made our project trailer and a logo animation for both the trailer and our presentation. I also wrote our elevator pitch for the booth presentation and helped with the booth design.

New Media Production

In New Media Production, I learned HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and much more. For this class, we had various projects throughout the semester, but our final project was to make a fully functioning website. I made a photography and videography portfolio website with Wordpress, which I also edited the HTML and CSS for to make it look the way I wanted. Unfortunately I have now transitioned that site to this one, but I still used what I learned in production for this site as well. 

New Media Photography

In New Media Photography, I learned the basics of photo and video and got to experiment with different types of each. We learned how to fly drones and more. For this class I made a music video which I have linked here. For the final project, I researched DSLR cameras in professional film and television and learned about how they can be useful tools even for expensive productions.
